Journal of Conservation Science (JCS) is a representative journal of the Korean Society of Conservation Science for Cultural Heritage, published in 1992 to introduce domestic and foreign researches with conservation, restoration and fabrication techniques of cultural heritage.
The journal was registered with the National Research Foundation of Korea on January of 2010. Since 2023, it has been published as a quarterly magazine five times a year, including the first issue of English. All manuscripts are submitted to the editorial board through e-submission (http://submission.conservation.or.kr) and published journal articles are available on a journal site (http://www.e-jcs.org).
JCS is a peer reviewed journal which is indexed/tracked/covered in Korean Citation Index (KCI), KISTI KoreaScience, CrossRef, and Google Scholar. This work was supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) grant funded by the Korean government.
